Bold Orange had clandestine beginnings. Our clients approached us with a new idea for a leading edge marketing firm, and they needed to explore space which would enhance the dynamism of their ideas. After analyzing a few lease opportunities, we found the right fit in the iconic 100 Washington building designed by Minoru Yamasaki. The firm's growth was anticipated, but Bold Orange needed a flexible and comfortable space that could expand and evolve with the company. Spaces were programmed to promote activity, and collaboration. Office and conference modules were designed to provide privacy, acoustical separation, and a gracious reveal between the existing architecture and new improvements. Pulling enclosed spaces away from the existing allowed an opportunity to democratize access to daylight and views with a playful approach to the use of daylight, reflections and the existing window patterns.
