Position Description:

 

Job Title: Architectural Staff (Historic/Urban) Level I

 

Independently perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in urban planning, zoning review, historic consulting, and all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity. Perform analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts. Work with sustainable design principles. Work with transit orient development (TOD) design. Prepares project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data. Write reports and specifications. Work under a licensed architect. Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations. Hybrid work schedule permitted at employer’s discretion.

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in environmental design, architectural design, or related design degree, and 1 year of experience as a Project Designer or similar position. Requires 1 year of experience with Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, Specification Software, MS Suite; Sustainable Design including energy modeling software; and transit orient development (TOD) design.
