Solbekken is a 3 building, 12 unit "flats" concept nestled into a tight site in Hopkins, MN. The design took cues from the vibrant colors of northern Europe while the floor plans are designed for empty nesters to young families with generous dimensions, open flow, and a den off of the primary bedroom that can double as an additional bedroom or a home office. Each building is equipped with an elevator serving a central core accessed through a two-car garage dedicated to each unit which also has storage.
