Located on the shores of Tomahawk Lake in Wisconsin, the THOMPSON Residence stands as a testament to the seamless integration of modern luxury with the serene beauty of its natural surroundings. This boomerang-shaped home, designed in collaboration with Urban Ecosystems Landscape Architects is a harmonious retreat.
The THOMPSON Residence is designed to disappear into the landscape. The boomerang shape, carefully chosen materials, and thoughtful placement into the hillside all contribute to the home's unobtrusive integration with nature.
Every corner of this 4,500 SF residence is meticulously designed to provide breathtaking views of Tomahawk Lake. Whether inside the house or on the enclosed screen porch and outdoor patio with a fireplace, the lake takes center stage, creating an immersive experience that connects inhabitants with the beauty of their surroundings.
The commitment to environmental stewardship is evident in the preservation of existing trees and the use of native landscaping. The landscape is an integral part of the design, fostering a sense of connection with the environment.
Inside and out, the THOMPSON Residence exudes quality and durability. From the TPO roofing system to locally sourced stone, Shou Sugi Ban exterior siding, and metal-clad windows and doors, every material is carefully chosen for its longevity and aesthetic appeal.
