Nestled in the vibrant heartbeat of Minneapolis, Mono, a trailblazing ad/marketing/branding agency, sought not just a workspace but a canvas for creativity. In collaboration with Lazor Office, AWH Architects embarked on a journey to transform a 1500 SF space into more than just an office—a living, breathing hub for ideas.
In envisioning Mono's workspace, AWH and Lazor Office shattered conventional norms. This wasn't just about desks and chairs; it was about fostering a culture of collaboration and camaraderie.
The foundation of the design was laid on an organizing 'cartesian' grid—a dynamic framework that would shape the entire experience. The workspace wasn't just a place to work; it was a social landscape where relationships would flourish, ideas would collide, and creativity would know no bounds.
Zones within the workspace were meticulously crafted, each with its unique ambiance—different lighting, varied acoustics, and diverse working styles. AWH Architects, in their commitment to conscious ENERGY use, installed light sensors, ensuring that every beam of light served a purpose, contributing to an energy-conscious environment.
The end result transcended the ordinary. It was an environment that exuded richness in its simplicity. Mono's workspace wasn't cluttered with excess; it was carefully curated, every element serving a purpose in the grand tapestry of collaborative creativity.
